I am writing from my hotel room in Denver, CO.

Numbers 5:

This one opens with God telling Moses to send away all the sick people.  It doesn't say sick people, but I think that's what it means.  Quarantine so everyone doesn't get sick, I think.

Then, if you do bad stuff, just make restitution for it.

If your wife goes "astray," this is no good.  If she's sleeping around with other dudes, a curse will be put on her.  Nothing is said about these other dudes though, as if they are blameless.

There's some more details about this imaginary curse.

I am writing from my desk in Seattle, WA. Genesis 30: So Rachel ain't happy yo; as you could imagine.  She ain't having any kids (and that is how you measure a woman's value), but sis is. March 3, 2019 - Day 329 - 2 Kings 16

I am writing from my hotel in Graz, Austria. 2 Kings 16: This chapter is about Ahaz, the king of Judah at this time. He did a bunch of dumb stuff, including offering his son as sacrifice, which God frowned upon. At one point, Aram and Israel tried to fight against Ahaz, but weren't able to overtake him. Ahaz did reach out to the king of Assyria for help, and complied by taking Damascus. Ahaz saw an altar he really liked in Damascus, so he had one built.  Then he died, and his son Hezekiah took over. And that is about it for this chapter.

October 1, 2018 - Day 176 - Deuteronomy 23

I am writing from my desk in Seattle, WA. Deuteronomy 23: We've made it, friends.  The wet dream chapter. This has a rough start for the castrated.  No one who has been emasculated by crushing or cutting may enter the assembly of the Lord.  Well that doesn't seem fair lol.
